Upper School Students Earn College Credit
Posted 06/12/2018 10:00AM

Seventeen Masters engineering students will receive college credit because of their course grades this year and their scores on a related assessment.

Students taking courses in Masters' engineering program have an opportunity to earn three college engineering credits for each course they complete with an 85% year-end average or better, provided they score "proficient" or "advanced" on the End of Course (EoC) assessment, according to John Chiodo, Director of Innovation, Engineering and Computer Science.

"Nationally, fewer than 50% of all students taking the exam pass, so it is all the more impressive that 80% of Masters students passed the EoC and will receive college credit for all their hard work," he said. "Additionally, three-quarters of those students scored in the 'advanced' range."

The list of the students and their scores are as follows:

Louisa Chiodo … Advanced
Arjahn Cox … Proficient
Jonas Kolker … Advanced

Introduction to Engineering Design

Sabian Grier … Advanced
Hannah Kreutzer … Advanced
Sarah Tretler … Advanced
