News From Masters
Members of the Masters community donated $1,617 for Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey relief efforts over the last few weeks.
On September 27, MISH sponsored a bake sale in the quad to raise funds to help the victims of Hurricane Irma, which devastated Puerto Rico and several other Caribbean islands last month. The $550 raised from the sale will be donated to Rubicon Global, which unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams.
MISH raised a total of $1,067 during the first two Jeans Days of the year to assist those affected by Hurricane Harvey, which caused heavy flooding and damage in Texas in late August. The funds will go to the AFYA Foundation, which is responding to the urgent needs of Hurricane Harvey victims with medical and other relief supplies.
The Masters School has a long history of working with the AFYA Foundation to sort and pack medical supplies.
