Health and Wellness
The Masters School Health and Wellness Center provides 24-hour medical care and emotional support for students and is skilled at identifying and treating a range of conditions. Our registered nurse is available during work hours on weekdays and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is on duty after hours Monday through Friday. An EMT is also on call on weekends. In addition to our school nurse and EMTs, our school doctor is available once a week for in-person assessments and is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for over-the-phone consultations.
Masters also has access to the resources of Dwell Family Doctors of Westchester, located within a mile of campus. Staffed by board-certified physicians and open seven days a week, Dwell Family Doctors also provides x-ray and laboratory services on site. The Health Center will schedule medical and dental appointments for boarding students and also has six beds available for students who are too ill to attend classes.
Masters offers an array of counseling services, workshops and training to the School community to promote emotional well-being, healthy choices and personal growth. Counseling Services are staffed by a licensed clinical social worker and mental health counselor.
